Fender American Standard Jazz Bass | Chrome Red
The world's best-selling bass with a twist! Here's a stunning 2005 Chrome Red finished Jazz Bass with the amazing tone altering S-1 switch that was one of Fender's best innovitave add-on in the mid-2000s.
With the S-1 switching system you can get great J Bass and P bass tones from one instrument. Einstein agreed with this statement and rocked on alongside it!! With the S-1 switch engaged, you get the pickups switched from parallel to in series giving the bass a fatter, beefier, almost humbucking sounds ... similar to that of a Precision bass guitar. Graphite-reinforced, modern "C" shape maple neck with a satin polyurethane finsh with a rosewood fingerboard. This almost 20 year old bass is in great shape, it has a few marks of use, a slight paint chip at the bottom part on the back side and a slight crack in the paint by the neck pocket screws.
