Fender Jazz Bass Japan Vintage 62 reissue series | 1982
Here's a truly rare collectors piece from Fender Japan JB62-JV from its very first year in Japan. Fender Japan was established in 1982.
A precise model that reproduces the 1962 jazz-based specifications of the Alder body, maple neck and slab rosewood fretboard. This bass is in a preloved player's condition. It seems like it had a relic job done to it, but it's all done naturally through its 43 years of previous love throughout its existence. The nitro finish is thin and allows this to happen easier as the original 60s jazz bass guitars.
The bass has has had pickup upgrade with an original K & T vintage jig set; pickups worth over 700€. These pickups are made according to the vintage pickup method, completely hand wrapped, they even offer more of a punch and controlled tones.
Further mods include a mute retrofit, and neck reshape, which has been narrowed down professionally for more comfort. The bass play like a dream, the sound quality tops up the experience, a truly legendry intrument which has been modified with respect to its past.
