1980s G&L L-1000 made in USA, with pre law-suit headstock. A true vintage legendary bass which simply plays like butter! Now 38 years since it was made, this bass is in great contion with some weather checking on its celuloid glossy finish, an is found in great condition.
This G&L L1000 is like a Precision bass on steroids! The smooth maple neck with a maple fretboard is comfortable and provides plenty of high end snap that is perfect for slap bass.
A single G&L Magnetic Field Design pickup is placed in the "Sweet Spot" for deep low-end and a nice mid growl. The G&L high mass bridge is solid and provides excellent sustain.
